We had the good fortune of connecting with Keianna Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keianna, what are you inspired by?
As a creative person and visionary, I am inspired by many things, but the two main things that have inspired me to build my business and become the woman I am today are: 1) hearing the words “No” and “you can’t”, 2) the type of work that I do. I started my coaching/consulting business eight and a half years ago and I did it the untraditional way. I walked away from my management position with no money saved and no guaranteed way of making money. Many people thought I was crazy and didn’t think my business would survive and here I am eight years later. It hasn’t been easy, to date it has been self-funded, which has resulted in a lot sacrifices and setbacks, but well worth it, I absolutely love what I do! I love coaching women and helping them transform their lives. There is no greater sense of joy than making a positive difference in other people’s lives. This inspires me to keep going more than anything else.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started my business, The Lifestyle Exchange in 2012. The Lifestyle Exchange is a brand for women, therefore, most of my programs and courses were created with women in mind. My signature program is The Lifestyle Exchange 30-Day Transformation Program. The program was created to guide women through the process of transforming their life- mind, body and spirit. It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of well-being, nourishment, and fulfillment. Living a healthy lifestyle is not just about the food we eat, but all of the factors present in our daily lives: mind, body, and spirit. The program is for women who want to experience life on a new level; who are ready to discover their full potential, and create the lifestyle they truly desire. Areas of focus include: -Shifting the mindset -Spirituality -Self Love -Personal Development -Nutrition & Fitness -Detoxing/Cleansing (mind, body and spirit) -Mastering Your Money -Discovering Your Purpose & Passion To date, I’ve helped hundreds of women achieve their health & lifestyle goals, discover their true self and create the life they desire. My company offers one-on-one, group and online coaching. I also host several women empowerment events throughout the year. There have been many challenges and struggles since starting my business eight years ago. There were plenty of months that I questioned my ability to keep going. There have been plenty of times where I allowed fear and doubt to determine some of the decisions I have made. There were plenty of months that I didn’t make a dime. There is something inside of me that will never let me give up. Looking back and what I have gone through and where I am today, I thank God for giving me the tenacity and the determination to keep pushing. And even today I wear so many hats that it can sometimes become challenging trying to balance it all ~ I am a wife, a mother, and I am building my empire. One thing I know for sure is that The Lifestyle Exchange will be a global brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Anyone visiting Atlanta for a weekend must visit the following places: Centennial Olympic Park (Downtown Atlanta) – home of the 1996 Olympics; SkyView Atlanta- go at night to get a beautiful view of the city; Atlanta Botanical Garden; Stone Mountain Park – a hike up the mountain is a GREAT workout! High Museum of Art; The Porsche Experience – Test drive your favorite Porsche and enjoy an amazing lunch or dinner! Oceanaire Seafood Room – For my seafood lovers! It’s one of my favorite restaurants!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am a big fan of John C. Maxwell and have read many of his books, including “Developing The Leader Within You”, “Failing Forward” and “How Successful People Think” to name a few. His teachings have definitely played an important role in my personal and business development.
