We had the good fortune of connecting with Ka’zion Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ka’zion, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has to my mom because she is the only person who has been here for me since as long as I can remember and she made me the person who I am today, because she sacrificed so much for me to become an actor.
Please tell us more about your art. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets me apart from others is that I never quit, no matter how many times I don’t get a callback it shows me that everything isn’t just going to be handed to me. I came a long way from last year march til now. I wake up early and go to sleep late but I love what I do. The lessons I learned along the way is that some people wont like you and some people will think you’re great, but you have to continue moving forward. I want people to know the only way for me now is up and keep an eye out for Ka’zion Wilson on the big screen.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go Hang out at Starlite skating rink, After that we would go to Mellow mushroom to get some hot pizza then go to WNB Factory for some wings, Then finally we are going to go to La Hacienda to get some tacos. You can tell I like to eat, right?
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my mom, Iyana M. for taking me to every set I’ve had to be on, and for recording every selftape audition I’ve had to do . I want to also thank her for supporting me with everything I wanted to since I was younger..
