Meet Kayvon Philip-Reid | Hemp Farmer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayvon Philip-Reid and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kayvon, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the community by gives people direct access to an all natural healthy alternatives instead of depending on pharmaceutical methods, the hemp flower and hemp oils we provide offer medicinal relief. My business helps the world because the environmental benefits that hemp growing provides is unmatched. The Hemp absorbs a sufficient amount Carbon out of the atmosphere, also will be able to directly combat deforestation and the plastic waste issue with the biodegradable properties that items made from hemp possess

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The thing that sets Rephil apart from the rest of the companies that may think they are similar is the fact that here at Rephil we hand cultivate our own crops and create products in a Seed to Shelf process. The best part is we actually have an Educational System that actually teaches you the history and benefits of hemp. You’ll even be able to learn how to grow hemp yourself after completing our Courses. I’m most proud of the fact that I Took a major sacrifice because I truly believed in my vision. I relocated from NY to GA and lived in a tent for about 100 days while I cultivated my first harvest of hemp. I wouldn’t say the process was easy but I wouldn’t say it was difficult either. When you are following your passion you’ll always accept any challenges that you face because it’s simply part of the dream. During this journey I’ve learned that Patience is key, Delayed Gratification will always feel better than instant gratification . I want the world to know I truly believe that hemp truly is our future and my story is proof of my dedication

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For the first night we would set up a nice camp fire by our tent and grill up some produce and meats that we got from our local farmers/ranchers. I’d take them around the state and visit all the hidden waterfalls and lakes that they have scattered around Georgia. We’d hit the local winery and pick grapes and then crush them and make wine ourselves. Once we checked out all the scenic parts of Georgia we’ll head up to Atlanta and check out the city life to check out some clubs and museums

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First of I’d like to thank Jah. I’d also like to thank my support system that is filled with Family and close friends that give me the emotional and moral support that I need during the hard days. A major shoutout to my business partner TP for always having mine and RePhil’s best interest in mind at all times. The support I get from the people of Grenada and Jamaica always keeps me going, just knowing that people from my parents Home Countries are proud means the most to me.
