Today we’re excited to be connecting with Kayona Moreland again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Kayona , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m thrilled to reconnect with you and share how my journey has evolved since my last interview with Shoutout Magazine. When we last spoke, my focus was on My Health Reassurance, a medical and wellness facility dedicated to providing holistic health solutions. Since then, I have rebranded, and expanded my vision as a Co-founder, with parnter, Jamesa Buchanan, launching Aesthetics of Fayetteville, P.C, a premier destination for luxury skincare, aesthetics, and wellness treatments.
Aesthetics of Fayetteville, P.C is more than just a medical spa—it’s an experience designed to help clients look and feel their absolute best through a combination of advanced aesthetic procedures and personalized care. What sets us apart is our medical expertise, as I bring nearly two decades of healthcare experience as a nurse practitioner, ensuring that every treatment is performed with precision, safety, and results-driven focus.
Our services have grown to include Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling PRP therapy, weight loss solutions like semaglutide, IV hydration, and hormone replacement therapy. We also recently launched our Glo Club membership, offering exclusive discounts and benefits to help our clients maintain their skincare and wellness goals affordably. Additionally, we’ve introduced the Glo & Let Go Luxury Facial Experience, combining relaxation with customized skincare to create a true self-care retreat.
The journey to where I am today has been filled with both challenges and triumphs. From overcoming adversity—including relocating my business during the height of COVID-19 with just six days’ notice, navigating pregnancy, and rebuilding stronger than before—to working with high-profile clients like Shaquille O’Neal, every step has reinforced my passion for this industry.
This rebrand was not just about a name change—it was about refining my purpose, elevating the client experience, and expanding my reach to empower more individuals through aesthetics and wellness. My mission remains the same: to help people feel confident, embrace self-care, and invest in their well-being.
We are excited to continue growing, innovating, and making an impact in Metro Atlanta and beyond. Thank you for the opportunity to share my journey once again!

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, my journey has been a testament to resilience, growth, and transformation. When we last spoke, my solo brand was My Health Reassurance, a medical and wellness facility. Since then, I have rebranded and expanded my vision as Co-founder with partner, Jamesa Buchanan, Licensed Esthetician and Laser Practitioner to create Aesthetics of Fayetteville, P.C, a premier destination for medical aesthetics, skincare, and wellness services. This transition was not just about a name change—it was about refining my purpose, elevating the client experience, and positioning myself as a leader in the aesthetics industry.
The journey to this point has been filled with both challenges and exciting milestones. In 2021, I faced one of the toughest moments of my career when I was forced to relocate my business within six days during the height of COVID-19. Business was already slow due to the pandemic, and on top of that, I found out I was pregnant in the midst of all the uncertainty. A few months later, I had to close my business again to go on maternity leave, without knowing how I would sustain it during my time away. But through sheer determination, strategic planning, and faith, I made it through. I returned to work just six weeks postpartum, reopened my doors, and not only rebuilt but expanded—offering new treatments, growing my clientele, and even working with high-profile clients like Shaquille O’Neal.
Today, Aesthetics of Fayetteville, P.C is thriving, and we are more excited than ever about what’s ahead. One of the biggest additions has been our Glo Club membership, which makes medical aesthetics more accessible by offering exclusive discounts and perks. We also introduced the Glo & Let Go Luxury Facial Experience, which blends relaxation with medical-grade skincare treatments, creating a self-care retreat for clients. Additionally, we’ve expanded our medical weight loss services, IV hydration therapy, PRP microneedling, and hormone replacement therapy, ensuring that clients not only look good but feel good from the inside out.
Beyond services, we’ve also been focused on mentorship and collaborations. We recently partnered with Nurse Fonda, LLC to provide preoperative medical clearance and FMLA support for women undergoing cosmetic surgery, a much-needed service for those navigating the pre-surgical process. We are also exploring cross-promotional partnerships with local businesses, including local gyms, to bridge the gap between fitness, aesthetics, and overall wellness.
What excites me most is the continued evolution of our brand and our ability to empower others. We want Aesthetics of Fayetteville to be more than just a medspa—we want it to be a hub for self-care, confidence, and education. Looking ahead, we are eager to expand our mentorship initiatives, offer advanced training programs, and create more opportunities for women in the aesthetics and wellness industry.
This journey has been alive, unpredictable, and full of lessons—but every challenge has made me stronger, and every success has fueled my passion even more. We are grateful for how far we have come and excited for everything that’s yet to unfold. Thank you for giving me the space to share our story again—I can’t wait to see what’s next!
