Meet Kaylee Bahk | Artist & Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaylee Bahk and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaylee, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
As a simple answer, it is my passion and what I like to do in my life. I believe I can perform the best result and be happy when I do what I love. Art has been a versatile form of a key in my life which can be anything such as a friend, language, and many more that I cannot live without.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Besides working for my professional career as an artisan and an interior designer, I am dedicating my time to creating a series of artworks that are focused on abstract multi-medium pieces. The direction of my artworks is influencing viewers in a positive way and provides a moment to empty their negative thoughts or feelings like how I feel when I create artworks. I am on a path of experiencing different types and mediums that can express this direction and goal the most.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like to start my day with a coffee and a fresh breeze so I will definitely bring my friend to Ponce City Market to stop by Dancing Goat Coffee. For the restaurants, I recommend Casi Cielo, Iberian Pigs, and Aria. Also, I will check out Avalon in Alpharetta only if the weather is nice. I love enjoying the sunshine outside and eating Jennie’s ice cream there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would say, my family. They always encourage and support me tremendously no matter what I decide to do. Also, all of my fans and clients who admire my works are my motivations and inspirations for continuing my artworks.
