We had the good fortune of connecting with Kattie Cemer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kattie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When I decided to become a public figure, it took time to groom whom you was on a business level, and allowing change to my character that people could be comfortable with was my biggest risk but seeing myself in a larger view might have been scary but knowing that I have something someone wants to see or hear was worth all the trails that came with becoming a Public Figure.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I initially started in the public eye as an Eye Candy Model back in 2012. An eye candy model is a person who takes tasteful photos, semi-nude or implied nude. I would post my images on Facebook that was one of the forms I use as a business contact, from that platform, I would get paid gigs but it was mainly so I can introduce the world to who I was. Throughout that time in my career, it opens many doors for me, music video offers, promoting clothing brands, and traveling state to state for party hosting which that career last up to 5 or 6 years, then I was ready for a change, a change that not only allowed my fans to see me in a different light but also ready for major growth in my career. In order for me to experience that growth, I needed to detox from the already industry I was in. After 4 years of hiatus, I believed I was fully equipped to represent myself to my fans as the New Kattie Cemer. I still take my tasteful photos just seasoned with grace LOL! I now model for a local boutique called Milk Boutique owned by a young lady name Mia here in Oklahoma, I’m also in my mid-term for my associate degree in psychology and I have my own non-profit organization called Kattie Cemer Management.
My non-profit is based on providing mentorship to your teen girls, helping teach self-esteem, and proper hygiene, and twice a month, I will take the girls out for food, games, or a movie to allow them to have time with the same-age teen girls and catch up on how their days been going, answer any question the young ladies may have and offer resource for things they may need.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If me and my bestie had the opportunity to take a week-long vacation and if she was to come visit me here in town, we would first do brunch downtown and after that do some shopping, than rest until dinner. In the summer here in Oklahoma, there’s lots of gatherings like bike shows, car shows, and the greenwood culture center experience which we would definitely make an appearance to witness, but then we will have had enough of the local stuff, we would hit the highway to the nearest city to get the city’s night life like the strip clubs, night clubs, rooftop parties, spa dates and most of all simply enjoying each other’s company.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give some special thanks to my fiancé, “Stewie Stash House,” and my business mentor, “Sean Rush.” My fiancé, “Stewie,” has helped give light back into my personal life when things got dark for me. Witnessing my mom’s journey battling cancer for 2 years had cause me to one gain faith but at the same time lost sight of the spiritual fight. I checked out of my own reality because I wanted to support my mother 100 % in her journey. My fiancé came in my life when I didn’t realize I needed someone to help guide me back to being me when things didn’t go as planned for my mom. After losing her to cancer January 19, 2022 it broke me but with my fiancé’s prayers it help me get back to somewhat of a norm but a bit different.
My Mentor, Sean Rush whom I’ve known for over 12 plus years would say, “You have so much to offer this world, and how can I help you pursue your dreams.” Sean wrote my business plan years ago and although, I’ve taken many mental breaks away from this career, he always know how to get me back on track and not stray to from away.
