We had the good fortune of connecting with Kashish Khanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kashish, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
So, today what I’m going to share with you is not exactly why I started my business, but here is a story about why I entered this industry.
Before directly jumping on the story – I feel like everyone should know that before started reading tarot professionally (after getting certification) as a part time- I was a full time high school teacher; well paid and at good and secure job position at a well- reputed international chain of schools. The organisation loved me as an educator and students were fully satisfied but deep down I was at very low point in my personal life.
I wasn’t happy and content emotionally and thus I took help of tarot and it uplifted me in a way that it changed my perspective towards lot of things and I felt so light and motivated that all the heavy clouds of negativity pondering over me got replaced with positivity and lot of light (all thanks to my mentor as she also gave me a healing session at that time).
After that it kept on striking me that having answers can provide you a very different outlook towards your future and most importantly present! Being an educator this has always been my prime motive to provide my students with real time answers and logic so that they get clarity not just in subject but also in life. Hence, I started learning tarot with the objective to provide answers to people who are lost in life and looking for positive Ray of Hope as my biz name suggests “Golden Rays” meaning Rays of Sun as Sun provides us with Light and Guidance always !!
Thus I was having just this one thought, that is to help others in any way possible cuz I believed if getting answers can change my life and convert the negative situation into a positive with the shift in mindset then getting answers can make a whole lot difference for everyone else too !
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a REIKHI Grandmaster, Lama Fera Healer, Mystic Healer practicing intuitive energy and Psychic Reading, a Tarotist, Hypnotherapist, Numerologist and Crystal Healer. As a Tarot, Psychic Reader for almost eight years in my charming bouquet of existence, I am practicing Chakra Activations, meditations, breathwork, and talking to the spirit guides to get answers and guide my clients to bring their emotions and shift patterns of life. I provide crystal therapies to help heal physical and emotional traumas. Teaching REIKHI Healing to more than 6000 clients bringing Mental and Emotional Balance; which unquestionably makes me a powerful Life Coach, a healer, and an excellent Counsellor. I am looking forward to help others experience this for themselves!
Nothing in the World comes easy – is something I believe! We all have to put in efforts for that and we all face our share of challenges in journey. I had challenges too! For me finances were not just challenge to set up my business or expand it but also to gain education of the path I was inclined to so that I can tap into my gifts fully and provide the best to people and we all know how expensive spiritual courses are as they involve energy work!
I did have well paying job at that time but also the house responsibilities where I used to contribute 80% of what I earned. So, savings were not that great.
Somehow I worked harder with part-time jobs as I saved from my school teaching job and then cut down on my personal expenses for some time and then manifested money with my Reikhi Healing and improving my relationship with money (which I also teach in my money manifestation course) and thus was able to work the finances part out.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my best friend anywhere where there is lot of greenery, serenity or any place of worship. After that, any cafe where we can have coffee and talk for long!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
One day just like that while having lunch after school was over, I got a call from a client I did tarot reading for a month back. Her story in short – She enquired about her love life and I guided the person she is with is unfortunately not loyal and will leave her soon to which she responded that I’m a fake reader and know nothing as her boyfriend loves her a lot ! It was definitely a bitter incident for me but getting her call after a month was surprising after what she mentioned. So, I took her call despite the fact I was so hungry and I usually don’t take calls while having my meals.
I thank Almighty every time whenever I remember that day, because I believe it was the biggest day of my Tarot Reading journey as I counselled her and was able to save her life! Yes…I mean it – when I say I saved her life. Because when she called me, her words were –
“ I’m sorry sister I abused you that day. My boyfriend cheated on me, used me and left me. I wanted to be a doctor but now I’m calling you for letting you know you were right about him and I’m going to commit a Suicide”
(I got shocked to hear that and stressed too as I myself was not very sure at that time how to deal with this kinda situation as my journey was at it’s initial stage too)
She continued- “I can’t face my parents and I don’t have anywhere to go. There’s nothing left in the world for me” !
She was so stressed and was just ready to give up on her life just like that. Somehow, something in me gave me some kind of strength that I was able to convince her to not to take any wrong step after an hour of our conversation and she was motivated to focus on her studies again though not very positive at that time but she wanted to live for her parents and for her own self!
I can’t share how happy and content I was and how relieving even that bite of cold food felt after that hour. (I’m always in tears while narrating this story and loose words as I feel nothing above this I would ever want to achieve in my life)
So, other than my mentors and my parents for their support; I give major credit to her! As this call not only assured me that I can make a change in someone’s life but also boosted my confidence and gave me a sign that I am on the right path.
And this one incident has not just changed her life as she is doctor today but it transformed my perspective towards my career and how I see my spiritual biz. I even compiled a book after that with my school colleagues as my last project before leaving the school titled as-
“Ignite the Light ,
Against the plight of Suicide”
That day I made my mind that I am going to do this for the full time. That’s all my clients who have believed in me and my work and my services deserve this credit!
