Meet Kash Kuttinup | Master/Celebrity Barber

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kash Kuttinup and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kash, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always been a sponge for art and fashion plus I pick up things pretty fast. Cutting hair is the perfect blend of the two. You can say this career chose me.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets to me apart from others is my drive. I don’t know when to quit. I’ve been a barber for about 20 years now, and I’ve ran into many many bumps in the road along the way even at times wondered if this is what I really should be doing with my life. One of the most important lessons I learned is that anything you put honest hard work into will eventually pay out in full. You just have to stick with it no matter what. I want the world to know that my brand is backed by quality and satisfaction. Sit in my chair and you won’t be disappointed.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I was born and raised Chicago so naturally I’m a foodie so restaurants have to be in the plans.

Breakfast: we gotta hit up Reveille Cafe for some shrimp and grits with a order of mystic French toast(lord have mercy)

Lunch: we hittin up 4 seasons for a 10 pc hot lemon pepper wet with shrimp fried rice(yessir)

Later we going to Chattahoochee Works to eat and start the night. Might stop by The 3rd spot (if we can get in). And from there we heading downtown to hit up some rooftop bars. Maybe end the night with some coffee from Café Intermezzo.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I want to thank my creator Jehovah God.
