We had the good fortune of connecting with Karter The Oracle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Karter, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The habits that I feel helped me succeed is my consistency. Even back when I had 9-5 jobs my weakness was not being able to put down a task and start a new one. When I became a business owner that became my strength. Now everything I put out is the epitome of original and perfection due to me sticking through a task without giving up.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am very proud of how since I’ve fully submerged into my gift, I have been able to inspire and touch so many hearts in such a short amount of time! I got to where I am today by simply staying true to myself. I’ve had the gift of clairvoyance (seeing spirits) since I was a child and as I got older I ignored my gift because it scared kids in school. Once I reached age of 20 I felt that I have this gift for a reason and there is something God/Universe wants me to do with it. I always found myself happy whenever I was in a position to help. Transitioning into a full time Intuitive Reader & Spiritual Coach was a very easy move since it is my life purpose. I’ve learned some lessons within this business and a few are: -Express what you know and feel -Do not dim your own light in fear of stepping on toes”, SHINE ON. -People are going to imitate you when you’re doing great things, so don’t get upset when you see people mirror your exact moves. Either patent/copyright/trademark it , or just chuck it up as a big WIN that you’re creating trends! I want the world to know that we are spiritual beings living a human experience, not the other way around. It is very important to learn yourself throughout life, not stress trying to figure out others. If you don’t know yourself fully, you’re wasting your time attempting to learn others; especially if they haven’t fully learned themselves… and if you’re still here, there’s more to learn! My brand “GardenOfEden” is like a mini natural HOLISTIC healing shop. All items are to help you naturally heal for those who prefer natural healing and for those who can’t afford extremely high medication in which they try natural alternatives. Know that everything is reversible be it illnesses or stressful situations. I went from being homeless (living in a motel) to living in a 5 bedroom home and I only need 1 bedroom. Things turn around. As above, so below.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whenever a friend comes into the city I have my mental itinerary laid out. I’m not a party person so my kind of crowd is always down for the HEALING lol. Here’s a little peak into my mental itinerary: Sunday- Set up projector in backyard and set it up as a movie theater. (Inflatable couches, pop corn machine, candy table, drink fountain) Monday- Go to Original Pancake House for quick breakfast while spending the rest of the day with MALL THERAPPPY (yes it’s a thing)! Malls we would go to would be Perimeter Mall and Lenox. Tuesday- Luxury Spa Day. We would go get manis, pedis, facials, full body massages, and waxes. That night after relaxing we would go to my FAVORITE chicken spot.. HAROLDS CHICKEN AND ICE BAR! I’m originally from Chicago where the restaurant originated so I take everyone there. Wednesday- Hump Day is perfect for an informational day! This would consist of museums and tours. Museums like Georgia Aquarium and The High Museum would be my favorite to visit. Thursday- Lunch at Sun Dial. Dinner at Hattie Marie’s ! Friday- Well everyone wants to touch at least ONE club/lounge when they come to Atlanta so I would definitely make Sivas the place! Very chill and not as upbeat as a club. Super cool for those who like to enjoy music, dancing, the bar, food, AND seating! Saturday- Hiking in the morning. 2 Escape Rooms in the afternoon. Early Dinner at Rays on the River before bestie departs!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to Russo (music producer) for being my biggest supporter no matter what business I stepped into, Russo has either purchased a product I pushed or made beats for me whenever I needed! Russo never said “we’ll stick to one thing” or “what are you selling now”. He has always pushed me to believe in myself when I felt like I wasn’t going to make it! Now here I am pulling in multiple streams of income DAILY.
