We had the good fortune of connecting with Karnagebeats and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karnagebeats, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
It’s been a huge role in my career, I’ve invested money and gotten scammed, I’ve been lied to, cheated, all that. But it comes with the game and you gotta always remember one thing, Regardless of the outcome of any situation, YOU HAVE TO TRUST THE PROCESS & LEARN from your mistakes instead of DWELLING on them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Karnagebeats & I’m a Rapper/Super Producer from Virginia but I’ve been living in Atlanta since I was 12. I’ve always loved music and made beats my whole life but only have been doing it professionally for almost 5 years now.

I guess you can say I got a “sad story” too, I’ve been homeless twice, My sister passed away in 2013, My mom was diagnosed with cancer. Life has definitely thrown its jabs my way but every single time I keep getting back up.

I’ve done showcases around Atlanta & Virginia. I’ve shut the stage down at Beer and Tacos, I’ve also won the Grand Hustle Open Mic Night Showcase, I won the Moss Fest Tour Showcase as well, My album Retaliation released in June & hit 100,000 streams in 30 days all due to my hard work and marketing.

Even though I’ve been doing music professionally for 4 years, I can admit that I haven’t always been focused as I am now,
I can finally feel and see vividly my destiny arriving but I know hard work, consistency and faith can only get you so far without patience, so I definitely feel like my biggest lesson was to learn to have patience.

My new single “Do Sum” drops October 1st, so with this release, I feel it marks a new journey for me.

The whole world will soon know who Karnagebeats is, it’s inevitable.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well if you looking for some wings that slapppppp!!! Go to Wings 101 and like I said them wings are fuego!

Oh! & I can’t forget about those amazing barrias tacos at El Indio and bruhhhhhh just try it, you won’t be disappointed!

I also sometimes like to go to McDaniel Farm Park to meditate & just take in the nature on the trail, whenever I need to clear my mind or if I need some inspiration for a song.

I’m really a home body, I love food & music so what can I say?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d be dead wrong if I didn’t mention my oldest brother, he always believed in me since day one & he’s been like a father figure to me. From giving me gems on life or just overall game about Hip hop, he’s definitely one of the people that introduced me to the love of my life and for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
