We had the good fortune of connecting with Karlton T. Clay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karlton T., is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is truly trusting God. I put my faith in Him for guidance. I don’t always get it right, but I am grateful to Him for providing me with the path to success, and on those times where I venture off that path, He is always there to guide me back in the right direction.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of the fact that I am able to provide a platform to highlight others. I am happy with the work that I have done with my company Victory Productions as far as creating the films and series, but I do feel like that phase of my life has come to an end. Now, I have the opportunity with my digital segment to shine a lot on others who are flourishing and making a difference in the community and in entertainment, specifically in the independent space.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite spots to go to in the city is Brunch House Of Augusta, which is on Greene Street in Downtown Augusta. This place has some of the best food in the city, and the service is top notch. It definitely gives a “home-like” vibe, and you will always leave there satisfied.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my family. My family is truly my everything. They are my support system. They are always there when others are not. They have been encouraging me and pushing me since the very beginning. They are the reason I am still here.
