We had the good fortune of connecting with Kara Langill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

What was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was back when I was a recent college grad. I wanted to make a commitment to myself to get healthier since i had more time. Growing up an athlete meant working out wasn’t new to me and I had a general idea of eating healthy. I met another girl my age who started her health & fitness journey a few years ago and was helping others do the same. I connected with her as I was interested in doing the same.

What should our readers know about your work?
I love helping people and watching them succeed. I try to have an ample number of resources, recipes, trackers, workouts, etc. available but if there is anything someone is looking for, I would be more than happy to help/create what they are needing or looking for. When we work together, you’ll have access to at home workouts, nutritional supplements, apparel, equipment…. anything you might be looking for to get a start on your health & fitness journey (or maybe you are looking to mix things up). The workouts range from beginner to advanced so there is something for everyone. You can even take the workouts outside or to the gym. We also have two nutritional programs from dieticians that you can follow. The workout programs last from either a week to 13 weeks depending on what you want to focus on and the types of workouts include running, barre, weight lifting, hiit cardio, bodyweight, stretching, or a little mix of everything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I recently went to Puttshack and the Vortex for my birthday a few months ago and both of those places were good. My family loves mini golf so Puttshack was already a win for us! The technology they used was really cool! And The Vortex had really good burgers. I’ve been wanting to try The 3rd Spot. It has a bar, games, and looks like a great place to hang out with friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family has always been my number one supporter, but I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without my followers. They encourage me to keep going and do what I do. Referrals from them have been the best – allowing me to connect to new people all the time.
