We had the good fortune of connecting with Kandra Albury and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kandra, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Remaining focused as well as seeking new opportunities that will challenge me in different ways.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has mainly been in communications, which has served as a solid foundation for every pivot in my journey. I started out as an adjunct speech instructor, TV news producer, print news reporter, corporate communications (PR, marketing and branding). I’ve also have had very successful businesses- Kids’n Capes, Inc. which help to prevent and raise awareness of childhood sexual abuse, bullying and illegal drug use in children (early on).

I’ve learn that you must lead with grace, excellence, integrity, and humility. I enjoy being a strategic solutionist.

Invite God to the table, be strategic and build slowly while remaining focused.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
