Meet Kamissa Clark | Model & influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kamissa Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kamissa, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I feel in this world today if you don’t take risk you will forever settle in life . You can’t expect to grow in life if you don’t take risk . For instance , I lived in Boston my whole life never came to visit ATL or anything and one day I woke up and packed up all my stuff and got on the road and drove down from Boston all the way here to ATL . I came down here to follow my modeling dreams in becoming a known model/ influencer . And I feel if I was still in Boston I would never be able to grow and meet the people I have since I been down here in ATL . Don’t get me wrote it was a struggle at first but I kept grinding and did what I needed to do , while I’m still following my dreams this as one risk I’m glad I took and now it’s helping me with my career and other goals I want to achieve in life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I got to where I am with modeling buy grinding every single day , making sure I submit to every casting I come across . Some days it’s hard and some days are easy but mentally I just make sure I never give up on my goal. The biggest lessons i learned is to never give up on myself no matter what . What I want the world to know about me is that I’m a hustler and never got to give up on my dreams being a model and influencer. Some day everybody will know my name and that day will be soon .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first bring her to milk and honey for breakfast that is my favorite breakfast spot then we would probably go downtown ATL and take in the sights and go to The boiler for lunch . Then bring her down to the trap museum and cascades and have some fun . Then for dinner to go the steak market for some good juicy steaks and drinks . Then to end the night heads over to cosmopolitan lounge and turn up all night long .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout Molly world prod. Casting !!! If it wasn’t for molly I would never be able to experience all the things I have , she has set me up with so many opportunities since I been down here and she is for all models known and upcoming . She supports us like no other and is genuine thru and thru . She is the number one person in ATL that have to thank for all of my success within these past two years. Molly is the BEST!!
