Meet Kaiya McMorris | Make up Artist and Nurse

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaiya McMorris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaiya, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson that my career has taught is to stay consistent with your content, no matter how how many likes you receive. And never look at what the next person is doing your time will come, just keep striving for greatness to your destiny.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have just graduated from nursing school as licensed practical nurse, nursing school was really had but also rewarding. It to dedication and hard work. I overcame my challenges by staying organized, staying consistent with my study schedule once I really figured out my study habits. I want the world to know that you can do anything you want to if you put your mind to it, I am a makeup artist, nurse, and an upcoming content creator. I want to show the world I am able to do it all no matter what the circumstances are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite go to spot for brunch is Biscuit Love. I enjoy taking walks in the Botanical Garden and the City Walk in Birmingham,AL. My hang out spot is the roof top bar for those after work nights. It has a beautiful view of the city of Birmingham.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my family and friends who have always supported me in my journey from makeup career all the way to my nursing career. Thank you guys for always being a listening ear when I needed someone to talk to.
