Meet Kaitlin Morgan

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaitlin Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kaitlin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
A) Owning my own business has been a dream of mine since I first became a hairstylist. I always envisioned creating a space where creativity, collaboration, and genuine support could thrive—not just for clients, but for the stylists working alongside me. Years ago, I actually worked in the very location my salon is, and when the opportunity came to lease it, it felt like everything aligned—it was truly serendipity. To be able to transform a space that once helped shape me into the foundation of my own vision has been surreal. I’ve always believed in the power of a team-driven salon culture, where every stylist feels valued and part of something bigger. That was something I could never quite find elsewhere, and now I finally have the chance to build it from the ground up.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
A) My journey has been built on nothing but hard work, determination, and an unwavering refusal to give up—even when it felt like every obstacle was stacked against me. There were long days, even longer nights, and moments when the finish line felt so far out of reach. But I’ve learned that you only get out of your work what you put into it, and I’ve poured my entire heart and soul into this dream. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and pushing to the next level—stagnancy just isn’t an option. My friends always joke that I never turn off because my mind is constantly racing with new ideas and the next big vision. But that’s the kind of passion that has driven this brand forward. What I want people to know is that this wasn’t some spur-of-the-moment decision—this has been 15+ years in the making. My brand is built on love, passion, and purpose. It’s made up of women and men who are genuinely obsessed with what they do and committed to being the best versions of themselves in this industry. I’m also incredibly proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients. They’re not just appointments or names on a schedule—they’re real, meaningful connections that grow each time they sit in my chair. That human connection is the heart of everything we do, and it’s what sets us apart.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d be so excited to show them around Alpharetta—it’s truly one of my favorite places to be. There’s such a great mix of energy and relaxation here, and I’d plan the kind of week that really highlights that. We’d start off with drinks and sushi at Lily’s Sushi Bar, one of my go-to spots. For dinner, Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill is a must- the best Italian in the area. And of course, Rumi’s Kitchen is great for drinks at the bar or enjoying the outside patio when the weather is nice.
We’d definitely carve out time for a concert— I’m a big live music fan, so if one of my favorite bands/groups happened to be playing, that would absolutely be part of the itinerary. During the day, we’d keep it laid back with time on the green in downtown Alpharetta—there’s nothing better than getting a cocktail just enjoying the vibe of the city.
We’d also make sure to schedule a relaxing day by the pool at one of the nicer Atlanta’s hotels, just to soak in a little sunshine and recharge. And honestly, no week would be complete without a massage at Woodhouse Spa—it’s my go-to for unwinding and hitting the reset button. The whole week would be a mix of indulgence, connection, and just soaking up all the amazing things this area has to offer.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A) Absolutely—there are so many people and forces that have played a role in where I am today, but if I had to give my biggest shoutout, it would be to my two beautiful kids. They are truly my number one driving force. Both of them came into my life through adoption, and they had a tough start, so it’s incredibly important to me to show them through example that with hard work, heart, and belief in yourself, anything is possible. They’ve both told me they want to be in the hair industry when they grow up, and that just fills me with so much pride and purpose—because I’m not just building this for myself, but to lay the foundation for their future too. I also have to give credit to my incredible team. Many of us have known each other through different seasons of life, and having them by my side as we grow this salon has meant everything. Their loyalty, talent, and shared vision are a huge part of why this dream is now a reality.
