We had the good fortune of connecting with K. Noel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi K. Noel, what matters most to you?
To be relentless. Being relentless is so important to me because after writing my first book I gave up because I expected to get the end results at the beginning. No one told me about the work I had to put in. So, I went on a seven year hiatus where I had completely given up. In the midst of those seven years the word relentless began to be birthed in me by the year 2020 that is when it fully developed that if I am going to go after anything I have to be relentless.
So, with everything that I do I have a relentless mindset. I analyze the necessary thing and see how can I become better in this situation or what can I learn from this previous situation to help me go further. Once I implement those lessons I go even harder. Does distractions come? Yes! Do I fee like giving up at times? Absolutely! But at the end of the day I inject that relentless mindset and I go hard!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where I am was not easy at all. Growing up I would often hear the words “you will never be nothing,” and as an adult those words stuck with me. But, when I started becoming relentless I broke those barriers that were on my life. Now I encourage others to take the limitations off of themselves and become the best version of who they are meant to be. Thinking about my past I used to gang bang and the street life wasn’t for the weak. So, now I take that aggressive mindset and use it towards my goals. I am letting nothing stop me and any obstacle both expected and unexpected has to move out of my way.
What I have learned was whether we can or cannot see the oppositions we are going to come up against we have to realize that we are already have the tools in us to conqueror everything coming up against us. Sometimes we may have to take a step back to reanalyze and see it clearly but it is already in us. That is why being relentless is so important.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow! This is a good question. Food wise, there are a few spots we could go in downtown Macon like The Rookery, Famous Mikes, and pretty much any steak restaurant. We would head up to College Park to catch the Atlanta Dreams or College Park Skyhawks (which ever season we are in), the Tubman Museum, Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Dave and Buster’s in McDonough, ride up to the ATL to go to the World of Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium and Underground Atlanta. Those are just a few places.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many that I could mention but I will keep it simple. First my wife, she has and is my biggest support who always believes in me and what I do. Also my coaches: Coach Aarionna , Jeremy Anderson, Chris Crumpler, Curt, and Nicky Saunders. Lastly, I have to mention my brothers: Dondi, Antonio, Kodi, and Warren.
