Meet Justin Turner | Filmmaker & Visual Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, how do you think about risk?
I think about risk as necessary steps to get to the next level of life, “everything you want is on the other side of fear.”
Risk taking has been instrumental in my life from moving from Maryland to ATL in 2018 to quitting my job in 2021. Life has continued to open up since taking these risks.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work/art is experimental. I approach every project/ objective differently then the next. Bruce Lee said “to be like water,” always adapting to the situation and surroundings.
What sets me apart is the intimate connection between story and music, when I connect to music those visions hit different. Creating detailed storyline, vibes, or settings is what sets me apart.
It has been quite the journey, not easy in the slightest. As far as overcoming challenges taking things day by day, nightly prayer and daily meditation.
Lessons that I’ve learned, is that divine timing is everything. Having strong faith in God and self belief moments of uncertainty go a long way.
I would like the world to know that FLY FILM is set on uplifting the culture in a positive direction, giving unique vibes along the way, and positioning creatives to achieve their dreams.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We definitely hitting Views Sports Bar on Peachtree downtown, Andretti Go Carts (Still haven’t been, but plan on going),
The 3rd Spot is fire, and so is The Works.
