We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I began cooking in my dorm my freshman year of undergrad and slowly but surely I began to perfect my craft. It wasn’t until I moved to Atlanta for graduate school that I realize how much of a gift I had in the kitchen and how it could impact other’s lives and health. Through my studies in Public Health, I realized I could mend both an educational tool and my culinary endeavors into a career, performing cooking demonstrations on healthy eating to public crowds and local schools; meal prepping for multiple clients to help them achieve their fitness goals; or simply just changing lives one taste bud at a time. I always have a lot of ideas floating around but to remain focused on my goals themselves, I put it all in God’s hand and do the footwork my self. No matter how obscure the goal may be, I have faith that I will achieve it. Here is a message to everyone reading this, “ If your goal doesn’t seem impossible… it’s not big enough.” I really just wanted to be “official” and professional. So I LLC my business and created my website by myself and conducted myself in a different manner, and the clientele gravitated towards me and I feel like I’ve gained the success I have today because I took that first step when I realized I could make this bigger than me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I pride myself on giving a complete stranger an experience they will never forget. From the places around the world I’ve traveled, I feel like I bring that cuisine to the table, in the comfort of your own home. I care about others’ health and that every bite is quality and some of the best, if not the best, food you’ve experienced. Being a self taught chef, and accomplishing the things I have so far, I just strive to inspire others that they can achieve any goal they desire in whatever they are passionate about. Everyone is equipped to make a difference in this world, they just have to find the self-motivation to make it. The smiles and reactions on peoples’ faces after they take their first bite is priceless. I believe that is what allows me to stand out amongst others. I also love that I can just take chances. I recently made it to the top 80 of season 10 of MasterChef out of 20,000 nationwide auditions. I just really want to keep excelling in my career hoping to inspire others

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First we would load up my truck “bud” (short for TasteBud) and eat a quick breakfast like oatmeal and a smoothie. Then we would go paintball! Paintball is my hobby and I love every second of it. While paint balling I would fire up my Traeger Grill and Smoke some ribs, or chicken, or some juicy steaks so that they would be ready to dive into after we finish playing. I’m all about having a great time “in house” so we would make a pit stop at the liquor store on the way back and grab some bourbon or some whisky to sip on and just enjoy the day! I’m a home body so I make the fun out of staying at home!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shoutout my Experience Family, all my followers, supporters, and team! They keep me motivated continue to push me to strive harder!
