We had the good fortune of connecting with Jreams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jreams, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think its important to take risk but to not be reckless in your decision making. Like all things in life its all about balance. I think I take in the pros and cons and listen to my gut when it comes to taking risk. The biggest risk ive taken was at the beginning of this year when I quit my job at an advertising agency and moved to Los Angeles to work for myself as a creative director.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Disciplined in multiple mediums. I direct music video, create 3d animations, visual effects, graphic design, art direction, augmented reality, photography, music production, motion graphics, videographer, creative rollouts and over all content creator. Most Proud projects this year was creating the cover animation for Gunna’s Wunna Project along with all the spotify animation. Doing the vfx on Jhene Aiko’s Summer music video, Doing the vfx on David Guettas Dreams Music video. Directing what i think my best music video which was for the bishop a sibling music group from my home town Austin tx. and what i’m most excited about is starting the animated series next year. Lessons ive learned is time management is so important and learning to say no to projects and people and how important my time is. Stay jreaming is all i can say about my brand

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
hit up quarter for some korrean bbq in korea town. i love goind down to venice beach and just hanging out or rollerblading. also just drivng through the valley is really nice. my idea day is going to little tokyo getting some sake and walking around then eating some sushi or shabu shabu.
