We had the good fortune of connecting with Jpoetix Wrld and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jpoetix, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As the Founder of Christian media company, “THE JXW”, I believe that it’s within our core principles which creates a shift in our community.

Here we strive to help people:

Pursue God, Seek freedom, & acknowledge their God given gifts.

This is impactful because as a kid, I never did those things myself.

Growing up with heavy depression and deep isolation, I was afraid to have my voice heard and sometimes I felt as if I never had a voice in the first place.

After four failed attempts on my life I made my decision to try “life” again, but this time putting my trust fully in God alone rather than In myself.

The 24th of November, 2019, marked the last attempt on my life, and on that fretful night my brother invited me to his church although I turned it down due to another association I was apart of.

Fast forward to 2021, I started to question my faith and how certain people carried themselves around me. This eventually spiraled me down into another season of depression and identity crisis.

But God had a plan for my life. My brother again years later invited me to his church, (UNION CHURCH) I finally decided to visit for just a couple of weeks! And well I loved it, actually those weeks turned into a full 365 day commitment.

Through the year of 2022 I saw my mental state & spiritual growth skyrocket! And therefore I decided to launch a platform that would help those in my demographic find that same freedom and sense of belonging.

I created my new artist name, jpoetix Wrld by inspiration to my love for poetry, and from there I started, “THE JXW”. A Christian media company that is solely focused to help people:

Pursue God, Seek Freedom, & Acknowledge their God given gifts.

My business helps the community, by providing resources and support that speaks to those who have believed the negativity that the world has placed upon them.

Our podcast, “THE JXW” creates an hour long atmosphere where teenagers & young adults can feel youthful again and realize that they are safe in the hands of God.

As our developing company grows, our main goal is to produce, poetry, music, podcasts, and even publish books! All to make a positive difference within the mental & spiritual journey of not only our local community but worldwide.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started as a poet, although the art form to me was different then just words on paper.

Throughout my childhood I encountered many moments of extreme sadness and isolation, to the point where I made four failed attempts on my own life.

I utilized poetry as a way to not only express myself but to also find myself.

Poetry was not only my hobby but my best friend! And through it I created multiple personality types to help me navigate through a great identity crisis I was in as a child.

My most memorable poem was called, “DAMAGE MY LOVE,” and it was dedicated to my emotion of love, as I saw her being a woman gaslighting me to believe that toxic relationships were okay! And that i have truly found love! But in all seriousness I have not.

As the lines go:

“I shot my heart with the same gun she murdered my family with,

Oh love has found me,
She painted my blood on the streets but I still kissed her lips,

As beautiful love was,
Her darkness choked every breath out of my heart,

Forever I will cry,
LOVE HAS FOUND ME,
LOVE HAS FOUND ME,

Love found me,

These words will I cry as I repeatedly get my heart punched and shattered on the grounds of hate and despair,”

The greatest lesson that I have learned is to never seek validation from anyone who hasn’t lived through your story.

Life is full of surprises that we definitely do not plan for! But what drove me insane was the fact that I felt different from everyone else! And i just wanted so hard to fit in, and that is what lead me to deep isolation In the first place.

What sets me apart from all the others, is that through my own experience I know how to understand those who the world rejects and I just want a heart-to-heart with them.

Life is not going to be easy, but all because you are different doesn’t necessarily mean that you should try for greater than what society tells you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are two words I hold deep in my heart, those words are, “Beauty & Chaos.”

I have even subtitled my upcoming book to be, “HEART OF YHWH, Beauty of Chaos.”

As a creative, I love the outdoors, and I have no specific place nor preference of time. But, any environmental space with a balance of those two words present is my desired place to be.

Just envision this:

A cool breeze day sitting under a tree, you can hear both the raging cars, but the beautiful birds,

you can see the dangerous power lines, but also the thriving plants & wild life. The unnatural pollution of noise! But also the natural sounds of flowing nearby water.

This is where my creativity is best sparked! And I would 100% take my friends to places around that embraces this environment.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout out my brother Josh (IG: @jfieldings) For being there to witness my final failed attempt on my life, and having an opportunity to talk me out of it.

Also for not giving up on me when it seemed as though my world literally turned against me.

Then I went to shoutout UNION CHURCH, for accepting me for me, and not who they wanted me to be.

Church can be weird sometimes when everyone has high standards of you, but Union has truly showed me a side of Jesus Christ where I don’t have to fit in to belong.
