We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Remaining dedicated to imorvement in all areas and staying passioniate about the quality of my work.

No matter what happens in the process of building my brand, peaks and slumps, I remain dedicated to proper planning, enjoying my work and sharpening my skills.

During this process others noticed my development and wanted to continue to work with me and build relationships.

This began to happen often as I stayed focussed and stayed creative in the work I presented.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
There are dozens, hundreds of photographers here in Georgia, but there is a smaller number of artists and creatives.

As I continue my professional journey, I will always work to build the quality of my content in hopes that is viewed as a piece of art in digital format and not just a picture.

The most exciting part of this line of work is client excitement.

If the client remains excited to work with you and develops a love for your work they will treat it as such and anything coming from that level of respect will lead to everything else falling into place.

Any line of work has challenges. Hopefully as we get more experienced we learn new ways to adapt and balance everything that comes in our way during the path to becoming better.

The ultimate lesson I have learned so far is you will never stop learning until you are no longer living because life is continually ever changing and evolving.

I want people to know that I will always do everything in my power to deliver high quality and professionalism before the opportunity, during the work experience together and after with post work.

I want the people I work with and my work to build my story so that is always shared with generations to come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m still a big fan of live music and live sporting events.

Wether photographing or not, those are the things I enjoy the most besides traveling.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God because he will always be there for you.

All the photographers, artists and family who gave me a chance so that I could build a portfolio.

Event planners who spoke on my behalf and showcased my work to their clients.

Magazine publishers who caused me to think outside the box creatively.

Anyone who told someone else about my work and helped me get to this point.
