We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Jah-Anayas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process for us was simple; we started the Jah-Anayas Group from the need to build legacy. The Jah-Anayas Group is a family-ran business with all hands-on-deck. We wanted to highlight our individual talents/passions and bring everything together under one roof.

What should our readers know about your business?
Jah-Anayas Group is a conglomerate housing 5 multi-disciplinary businesses operating under its umbrella. First, we have BEARFACE STUDIOS providing Audio Engineering, Audio Mixing, Audio Post-Production, and Sound Design. Our Chief Engineer, Joshua Jah-Anayas, has recorded artist in the likes of Young Thug, Gunna, Monica, SZA, and many more. Next is BOWLIEVABLE TREATZ; a crafting service that create custom bows, mini purses, birth announcements, etc. JAH-ANAYAS CONSULTING FIRM provides Business Plan Writing, Political Strategic Planning, Professional Development, and Traditional Consulting. Finally, KINGS and QUEENS is our community organization dedicated to educating the youth through summer programs, curriculums, and workshops.

Each Business has its own uniqueness and caters to the client needs. We’re most proud of the way we conduct business by personalizing each experience based on the goal of our clients. Our history lies in our name itself. “Jah” reflects our spiritual connection to the most-high and “Anaya” meaning answered prayers; combined, Jah-Anayas literally means that God is answering our prayers. The biggest lesson we’ve learned through this journey is the importance of trusting family and building a legacy together.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is never a dull moment in the City of Atlanta. First stop up on our itinerary would be an affordable, traditional southern meal with a twist. The Real Milk & Honey delivers true southern cooking. Our next stop is a one-stop-shop that caters to all of your needs, “Atlantic station”. Atlantic station offers food, shopping, and entertainment. One of our favorite spots there is “IT’Sugar”. You may also run into some of Atlanta’s well-known celebrities as they cruise the streets of Atlantic Station. Our next destination would be “The Juicy Crab”. The Juicy Crab delivers traditional Cajun style sea food. Our favorite dish is Snow crabs- juicy special, mild flavor, extra sauce. Our number one spot in Atlanta for fine dining is Atlas; offering sophisticated fine dining and attention to detail. After indulging in such greatness, one must satisfy their sweet tooth with a delightful treat from CamiCakes. To end the night in Atlanta, we must secure the vibe. The list can go on and on, but just to name a few, Mic’s Karaoke, City Winery, Views, or Ubar.
