We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Hillmon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what inspires you?
My biggest inspiration is building a team that’s gone have me and my business partner’s best interests in becoming a successful company. My kids and my nieces also inspire me to lead by example because I know they look up to me and my brothers

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m part owner of Whats Ah Name Courier Express LLLP and we are a company that’s gets the job done. I’m also part owner of Whats Ah Name Investments LLC and we invest in rental properties and more. I’m also partnered with one of the number one marketing company called xooma and they have some mind blowing products that are good for the human body.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite spots is Dave and busters because after tiresome weeks of work you get to remind your self that it’s OK wanting to have fun and act like a big kids because it releases the negative energy and relaxes the mind

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom deserves some recognition because she stayed on me and my brothers whether it was right or wrong. My better half also deserves a shout out because no matter the circumstances we still managed to put our kids first. The one person who taught me and sibling how to be men and always have one another’s back departed from us and we still hide the pain each and every day and I know he in a better place. He was well known by chick and I miss my pops and I know he smiling down on us.
