Meet Joshua Crump | Producer & Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Crump and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success has been God. J Crump Productions has grown to a completely new level over the last 6-8 months, and I’m extremely grateful and blessed. I’ve been able to reach an entirely new clientele and offer a wide range of services to accommodate customers. This is only the beginning. There’s a lot more in store in 2024.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What separates J Crump Productions from other companies is that we are a one-stop shop. We aim to provide more than just visuals. Our company can create an entire online presence for your business and provide the visual content needed for that presence. Our growth hasn’t been easy. There were several ups and downs, but there are no regrets. J Crump Productions is where it is today due to a lot of favor from God, networking, and building the right relationships. I want the world to know that this company is more than just a photography business. We are capable of putting together full-length projects, trailers, documentaries, and more.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’ve been living in Buckhead for the last 4 years so there are too many to name. I’d have to start out by naming a few spots like Serene, Elite Lounge, Mojave, Toast On Lenox, Sidepiece Wings, The Beverly, Sage Woodfire, and, of course, Backstage. You can’t go wrong hanging out at Atlantic Station, visiting Hobnob, Midtown, and more.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people to shout out. My parents are first. They bought me my first Canon T6, and the rest is history. I can’t go without thanking the former club, Encore, for allowing me to take pictures there several years ago. That allowed me to gain exposure in the Atlanta scene. Keith Lewis is another person who took a chance on me 5 years ago and hasn’t turned his back on me. There are countless others, but I can’t end this without thanking my Backstage family for investing in me, and trusting me with this huge project that will be coming out very soon.
