We had the good fortune of connecting with DADED and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joseph, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
DADED, Driven All Day Every Day. Back in college i was a graphic designer and I wanted a brand to represent that through fashion. It died down, but eventually grew and turned into a lifestyle. More recently we’ve been filming and capturing the underground car scene in Atlanta, really focusing the brand around that. Allowing that to be the heartbeat for DADED. I’ve always loved cars and the culture surrounding it and at the time there wasn’t too many people documenting that. So I stepped in. Made some friends and put DADED back on the map. Kind of giving it a rebranding.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I’d like to think what sets us apart from others is the brand itself. A lot of other videographers that I know only shoot video or photo. They usually don’t have any clothing or anything else to offer to their consumers or followers. So I try to add more than just the videos. The videos don’t bring us money. The clothes and merch do. I’m most proud of how far we came! It’s been a very long ride for me personally. But it’s only the beginning! And I’m excited to see where it goes. More meets, more shows, more photos, more nights. I got this far by being consistent. It’s key! Really just going out almost every weekend, capturing the night life. The underground world that the norms don’t see or don’t like to see. I try to talk to people and network, no one likes a stranger. So you got to network! It definitely was hard cause I’m an introvert. So that was the main challenge and continues to be. Lessons I’ve learned, stay in your lane. Don’t worry about others more than you worry about yourself. That’s opposite thinking. Focus on you and the brand and never stop. Lastly, the world needs to know that DADED is here to stay. Cause it’s not just a brand it’s a lifestyle, everyone needs to be DRIVEN ALL DAY EVERY DAY. Keep that drive and watch your life be great

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Lol ummm. For the most part we chilling until the night time. In Atlanta, the nights be more live than the days. But if they wanted to go somewhere during the day. We just chilling at piedmont park or the old ward skatepark, maybe grab some food at JJs. That’s about it. Now the night time. We going out to maybe the varsity, Mercedes Benz stadium, maybe even go to Mexico, stop at BP for gas, you know, some fun underground living. Invite only
