Meet Jorden Little | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jorden Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jorden, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to showcase others in a light that makes them feel loved and beautiful while capturing their authentic selves.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I would classify my business as more lifestyle oriented. I LOVE capturing candid moments of my clients because it captures real life experiences. I started this business by advertising myself on a lot of Facebook groups. I have gained several positive interactions over the course of the last almost year from it! It hasn’t been the easiest, as there are so many other talented photographers advertising themselves as well. It’s been a journey figuring out how to advertise in a way that showcases what sets me apart from others and why a client would enjoy their experience with me! I’ve learned that not every “No” means that I am not a worthy photographer. It simply means that that opportunity was not meant for me to have and greater things will come along.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well because I am a Metro-Atlanta native, we would definitely be taking a trip to the aquarium. We would hit up Atlantic Station as they have so many of my favorite stores: H&M, GAP, Forever 21,Sephora, etc. We’d probably catch a Braves game and hit up Punch Bowl Social. Such great cocktails and fun bowling too! We’d also probably travel a little further north and check out Big Door Vineyards for some great sips and amazing outdoor scenery.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first love to thank my wonderful fiance Rafael for always supporting me and encouraging me to continue on this journey. Secondly, I’d like to thank my parents for investing in my journey by gifting me my first professional camera when I was 17. They wanted to encourage this artistic vision that I had. Lastly, I’d like to thank all my closest friends who support me and always make me feel that this is what I am meant to do.
