We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Eugene Lane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan Eugene, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
One of my favorite quotes is “work harder on yourself than you do on your job”, by the late Jim Rohn. It makes sense that if we learn the skills relevant to our own lives, we can one day become valuable to the marketplace and people will seek us out.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I was in the Marines for 7 years and decided to pursue acting because Adam Driver was also a Marine who went to acting school and became very successful. I got my BFA from the New York Film Academy Los Angeles. Covid happened immediately after graduating from acting school so I moved back home temporarily to Fayetteville North Carolina to ride out the pandemic. I had owned a DSLR camera since about 2011 and took it on deployment with me; I’ve been into photography on and off since then. While back in North Carolina I created my photography website Touch Turn Gold Photography. I love capturing images for people that they ;love and will last them for a lifetime. Some important lessons I’ve learned along the way are to love what you do and not to accept anything less than what you are worth. I want every penny that is mine, nothing more nothing less. Whether it be acting or photography, I am a professional with my own unique style and vision. Feel free to look me up on IMDB as well as my website www.touchturngoldphotography.com

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I can be a homebody but I’m not opposed to a good movie! Ive never really been a beach bum, but nature is absolutely marvelous so I would go to an evergreen forest with lots of trees and perhaps a small body of water or a stream.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give all glory to our creator, and a special shoutout to my dear friend Deborah who is the owner of Teallow Tea.
