Hi Jon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Funny enough I was working at my church as a youth leader and had started shooting with another wedding videography business. It dawned on me to try to buy my own camera and start my own business shooting weddings and it’s been uphill since then! I love being a business owner and having the freedom I do have. It feels like a cheat code at times in life. We’ve been programmed to work at your 9-5 and that’s it. When I figured out that you can start your own business and live life on your terms it changed the way I look at life. I love having my own business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Limpio Shoots LLC, we are passionate about providing a wedding videography experience that is far from a traditional movie set. Our business embraces a minimalist approach to weddings, allowing the day to unfold naturally and capturing genuine, candid moments. If my best friend were visiting the area for a week-long trip, I’d make sure to show them an unforgettable time by immersing them in the beauty of North Georgia. One highlight would be staying in charming cabins surrounded by nature. To create a truly enriching experience, I’d organize a house party that brings together wonderful people, delicious food, and drinks. This gathering of likeminded individuals would offer a space to share ideas, stories, and inspiration, fostering personal growth and meaningful connections.

During the trip, we’d explore a diverse range of activities to capture the essence of the region like breathing in the fresh mountain air and soak in the stunning views, Engaging in a creative workshop or craft session, allowing for personal expression and growth, Spending the evening sharing stories and insights around a bonfire under the starry skies, hosting a cabin house party, bringing together likeminded people to connect, learn, and grow.

I would say I would definitely shoutout my wife who has supported me in all of my process with allowing me to buy my gear and chase my dreams. She’s amazing and fully supportive of my business. I also have a close group of guy friends that I run life with and we all motivate each other to chase our dreams and build our businesses.
