Hi Jon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We are a family owned Afro-Latino American business so it is very important to us that we create an atmosphere that is welcoming and diverse, as well as our menu. We ensure that our BBQ is flavorful, well prepared and consistent in taste. We are not afraid to experiment with different smoking techniques and flavors to develop a unique experience and a memorable taste. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and an unforgettable bbq experience. Customer satisfaction is paramount! We have established strong ties in the community, engage in community events, and festivals affording us the opportunity to build and maintain relationships. This has definitely been instrumental in fostering trust, creating a deeper connection and building a loyal repeat customer base.

What should our readers know about your business?
We offer a distinctive bbq experience that combines the best of Afro American and Latin flavors. We offer innovative and exciting dishes such as: Awarding winning pulled pork, succulent chicken, smoked seafood Mac n cheese, ribs that fall of the bone, smoked meat loaf, spicy yellow rice and so much more!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First we would stop at the Battery as many of them are foodies and there are a wide selection of restaurants and also catch a Braves baseball game. Day 2 we would visit Centennial Park and see the view of the city from the Ferris wheel Day 3- We would visit Ponce City Market for food and shopping. Visit the rooftop bar for a drink and enjoy the view. Day 4- Catch a play at the Fox Theater, Day 5- Visit the High Museum for their Friday live Jazz and light bites Day 6-Visit the World of Coca Cola to taste the 100 international flavors Day 7- Visit Mary Mac’ for some good soul food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family deserves all the credit and praise! From when I was small and throughout my life journey, I have been fortunate enough to experience uplifting encouragement and unwavering support from my family. They believe in me unconditionally and always encourage me to pursue my dreams and aspirations. They always have fostered an environment of growth and positivity. They offer constructive feedback and help me push boundaries and refine my goals! Muda and Pops, GranCee, Abuela, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins you are the absolute best!
