We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnika Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Johnika, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m originally from a small town called Douglas, Georgia, I currently live in Atlanta. I came from humble beginnings, being raised in a small town allowed me to be well rounded and able to function in different environments when it comes to business. My real estate company is not specifically for buyers and sellers in Atlanta, we serve all areas and markets. I think a lot of times families that live in smaller rural areas don’t have the same information available to them as people that live in the city, so our agents bridge that gap by being licensed and active in several markets. My background has helped me see things from a broader perspective when it comes to how I market myself and my company.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My real estate company is different because of the level of service that we are able to provide to several different markets. We are a female owned, minority real estate firm as well. This journey has not been easy but my faith in Jesus Christ has allowed me to stay on course to see it through. I started in August 2021 and I currently have 11 agents and we hold a license in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. I’ve learned to stay consistent with building and marketing, that’s a large part of what we do for growth and to procure clients. Integrity is another huge factor, real estate can be a dog eat dog business but our agents maintain a very high level of customer service and integrity, that’s what we are known for. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is to silence every voice that’s talking you against your dreams because people will talk you out of an amazing future if you allow them to.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely recommend them coming to North Atlanta near Alpharetta, I absolutely love the Avalon. I also love Buckhead Atlanta, that’s another cool spot to hang out and have a good time. Jeni’s Spendid Ice Creams is a really good place to visit! Atlanta has endless entertainment!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My son Jasiah and my family have been my motivation to get things accomplished. I’ve also had phenomenal mentors Charlotte Preston, John Okooboh, and several others who’ve helped me along the way. I’m an avid reader, books like Soar by TD Jakes, Change Your Trajectory by Dale C. Bronner, and the Bible is my guide.
