We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnathan Pitts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnathan, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is Business, I’ve always thought that taking risk is the only way to excel at business…..I can be a very methodical person so this was a challenge for me……overcoming fear and doubt is always the adversity that most business owners come against. But that’s where the vision comes into play of your business and taking a risk should be apart of your business plan and vision because it’s going to take courage and the belief that this is going to succeed and doubt has to to become your foot stool to your destiny!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Coming from The DMV has always been apart of my story because it’s where my passion for food and my journey began, a lot of early mornings and late night of making mistakes and bad decisions have all been aided in learning the business learning who I am as aChef and more importantly it has taught me humility in so many ways…Challenges are the things if you don’t face them head on they appear again in your life/career possibility in another form but it’s important to face them this building of your business and career. I want everyone to understand that no one’s owes you anything This world much give and take but what you sow is also what you reap…invest in yourself and invest in others that support you and even ones that don’t support. My brand is build from hard work and The ability to believe in the impossible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LOL ! Honestly we would definitely have to make a trip to Magic City for the wings and entertainment it’s robbery if you visit Atlanta and don’t go to magic city lol the belt line on the west side has great bars and there is such a diverse group of people that patron these bars that make for a good time. Little 5 points is such a well kept secret and hidden gem of just culture. Edgewood would be our next stop the restaurants and bars the people it’s a experience. Twisted soul is one of the best soul food spots in Atlanta just amazing food and a great atmosphere. Blue flame on the west side for its drinks and food is a must
