We had the good fortune of connecting with John “Drumz & Rosez” Zinkevcz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi John “Drumz &, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I feel & think communication with my kids & allowing them to be kids, & allowing them to make mistakes has been some of the most important lessons that we have learned together. There is no manual to being a parent, my kids help me grow & understand life better every day.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Making music is my art. I’m an artist, but I’m a different artist. I don’t rap or anything like that, but music composition is my form of art. I absolutely love taking my emotions & putting them into a song with nothing but instruments. My journey hasn’t been easy at all. Although I’m not where I want to be, I’m where I need to be. Losing my parents really plays a huge part in my drive for success. I was traumatized by their deaths & I believe it forced me to grow. My dad was hit in the head by a. Airplane propeller & I lost my moms to cancer a few years ago. I’ve learned so much by losing them in this physical world. It’s unfortunate but I definitely understand the growth that was needed. I want this world to know my parents & how great they were. I want them to know that no matter what you go through, you can always come back

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food lol. I’m all about food 🤣🤣🤣 we would definitely go on a food field trip. If it’s summer/spring time then we are going to my little getaway…Tybee Island. Drinks 🍹 the beach 🏝 & food 🍱🤣🤣

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I just really want to take the time to thank my parents. I now understand them so much more & what they were trying to teach me. I love y’all I miss you so much 🕊
