Hi Joel NR, what principle do you value most?
Loyalty, drive and commitment; those principles are the epitome of what makes a great business executive and human being. You have to stay loyal to those that have helped you to become who you are. You have to have the drive to focus on your goals no matter what. You have to be committed to the process because that’s where success lies. Right on the other side of your comfort zone.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Creating art is a skillful process that I take very seriously. It’s not just about creating a project, it’s about the process of understanding. Focusing on what your fans, customers, clients expect from you. I had to understand that when you’re a creative, it’s all about satisfying those that not only support you but those that stay loyal and remain close even during trying times. The truth of the matter is, it’s never been designed to be easy. That’s why many are called, but chosen are few. With the rise of the internet, everybody thinks that they can become an overnight success, but in reality that’s why you will become an overnight success here today, gone tomorrow, because you never endured nor sacrificed to learn your craft so you can grow into a legendary figure. That’s what I am extremely proud of: the fact that I was able to learn from those that came before me. In all aspects of my career. From my sound system beginnings with my DJ service, Ninja Ryders Sound, to now, as a recording artist & writer, I am inspired by other honorary figures, such as Mark Dragon from Inner City, Ricky Trooper from Killamanjaro, Rory from Stone Love, Master P & Tech N9ne. I want the world to know that you can become anything you want to become in this world once you are willing to try and push yourself any and everything is attainable.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is such an amazing place to visit with so many places to check out. I’d be sure to take them to Ponce City Market, Sweet Auburn to gain some history and knowledge about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, The City Winery for a show and, for sure, Little Five Points Wax n Facts to get some music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I have to always thank God for keeping me away from harm and for allowing me to be as authentic and true to myself daily. Thank you to everyone that has supported the NR Entertainment brand from day one. The love is greatly appreciated.
