Hi Joel NR, what matters most to you?
Using my talent and skills to empower and motivate the world where I can bring various races, colors, and creeds together is very rewarding. I believe firmly in unity. We may not always be able to get along, but we can always find a way to respect and be kind to each other. Being honest, displaying integrity, and practicing self-love have all been some of the core values I hold dear to my heart. Practicing the principles of having an attitude of gratitude, taking accountability, and always having faith have kept me steadfast in achieving my goals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being open-minded and thinking ahead allowed me to grow, evolve, and succeed in the arts and entertainment business. As a multifaceted individual, branding is always crucial. There are challenging moments, but the rewards make the journey worth it. You have to have a combination of talent, hard work, and determination. That comes first before all the fun and excitement. It’s a business so therefore you have to move as such. By
Building a loyal fan base, networking with industry professionals, and creating a solid personal brand are all crucial steps. It’s essential to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology and to be open to learning and adapting. With unwavering dedication and strategic planning, anyone passionate about music can make a name for themselves in the highly competitive entertainment industry. Remember that success in the entertainment business isn’t just a matter of luck but a result of hard work and perseverance. That’s what I want my brand, NR Entertainment Inc., to be known for—a globalized brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Jamrock Restaurant on MLK, Big Daddy’s on Old National Hwy, and DBS Sounds in Riverdale are all a must-visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Showing gratitude is an important aspect of human relationships and interactions. It is a way to express appreciation and thankfulness towards someone who has helped us in some way. Whether it is a small gesture or a significant favor, acknowledging the support and assistance of others is crucial in maintaining healthy and positive relationships. There are several people that I would like to dedicate  my shoutout to that have all contributed towards building the NR Entertainment Inc brand.

Firstly, I dedicate my shoutout to God for waking me up everyday and blessing me with all of my talents and skills,

Natalie Ninja aka The First Lady for her unwavering love and encouragement all the time, The Don of Scarborough Fadda B aka Bradley of Typhoon Sound for representing and sticking with me during the ups and downs, Jah Chozen aka Richard for believing in me and reminding me that I am still the NR Superstar, King Yellowman for the day to day positive WhatsApp messages, the encouragement, the dialogue about the industry, the insight and most of all the love and Darnel Howell aka Mooch for telling me about scaling a business.

Without love and encouragement the journey towards success can become very tedious and discouraging. Therefore, I am truly grateful to dedicate my shoutout to the people that genuinely care.
