We had the good fortune of connecting with Jodie Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jodie, how do you define success?
I define success as Being Your Best You! Knowing your gifts and talents, then utilizing them and serving them to the world. Success is discovering your purpose and being exactly that; while being influential and impactful. Your individuality is what set you apart from everyone else. Therefore, your existence is necessary for your purpose. The goal is to operate in an environment of your gifting while refining and cultivating.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MusixBox Entertainment LLC is a music company that provides professional live music entertainment services. Our professional service includes music production, live performances, session musicians and music arrangements. What sets us apart as a music company? Definitely, our Sound, Expression, and Feel when it comes to our music performances and our ability to exceed our clients expectations. Our most successful product is the MusixBox Band which is not only a household band name but is also an artist. I’m most proud of the EP the MusixBox Band is currently working on; expecting to be released Fall 2022. How did I get to where I am today business- wise? Consistency, taking risk and being teachable. Was it easy? At times, and sometimes no, but with effective planning and refining made it a bit easier. Our goal as a music company is to be impactful and Influential through music while serving our gift to the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely would like to shout out the MusixBox Band fellow bandmates Bernard Wortham (Bassist) Jimmy Banks (Guitarist) Vince Greer (Saxaphonist) and Josue Sapon (Drummer) for partaking in the music journey with me. Each of these guys are great people and some amazing musicians who have contributed their commitment, belief and passion for music.
