We had the good fortune of connecting with Joby Jay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joby Jay, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is the belief I have in myself and the support I get from my Team. I think everything starts from self belief, I apply myself the best way I know how to get things done because I know I can do it. I may not always get it right, but I will learn and improve. The support from my team means the world to me, they genuinely believe in my talent and go to lengths to help me on this journey, I am forever grateful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m most excited about finally releasing my first body of work. My Ep ‘Love Levels’ was released recently. It’s 7 tracks that speak to my different experience with love from different levels. So far the reception has been great and I’m very happy people are feeling and enjoying the music. I think I got where I am today by continued effort and the willingness to learn. It wasn’t always easy, they’re wee multiple road blocks and disappointments, but it was always about how we choose to move forward. I’ve learned to be patient and trust MY PROCESS. Everyone’s journey is different, so I try not to compare myself and focus on what I have going on. I want to the world to know that self-belief and self-love go hand in hand. Give yourself a chance and follow your heart.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My manager Daniellia. She has been there with me every step of the way, guiding me and vouching for me. I am forever grateful for her support and belief in me.
