We had the good fortune of connecting with Jmar Panther and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi jmar, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success was the consistency , risk & multiple sleepless nights staying up & editing.
I did the steps that most people skip & I had 2 mentors at different points starting out.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I take my art very serious , I truly believe I am a different creative from all my peers.
They can’t do what I can do.
The thing that sets me apart from the rest is that I actually love what I do , I wouldn’t want to do anything else with my life.

Im most proud of myself for breaking barriers & leveling up everything that I do.
The proof is in the pudding, my work speaks for itself.

Of course it wasn’t easy, there’s obstacles & adversity to everything in life.

I want the world to know that my photos are an expression of all my life experiences.
Ive lived in Jamaica , New York , Las Vegas & California.
Imagine all the things I’ve seen & collected in my head.
I am thankful

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Atlanta id definitely bring em to buckhead for some nightlife vibes.
Gotta hit up cook out for some quick grub.

Last but not least gotta hit up Waffle House.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I would like to give thanks to god for my talent & eyesight.
He blessed me to see the world different from everyone around me.

My mother & father are my inspiration.
I am super thankful they brought me into this world to create & give back.

I dedicate this shout out to all my genuine friends in my life.
All the teachers that had an impact on me in high school.
Also my two mentors Jordan Webster & Edmund Coutan thank you for everything you’ve taught me.
