We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Hollins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew that I had a gift that could help business owners in a real way. I was secured in knowing that once I started my own social media agency I would be able to help many people at once. I was most excited to build a brand around my skill.

What should our readers know about your business?
Signed By Bleuprnt is the social media agency I own. I understand that social media can be a lot to manage. We remove the intimidation from business owners by creating custom social media strategies.

I am most proud of the growth we obtained given that we’ve been opened for less than one year. The growth was not easy though. I had to learn how to delegate and ask for help. I overcame this by hiring people to help me balance the work-load.

I want the world to know that we are the best at what we do. We put our souls into our work because we genuinely want to see our clients win. Business owners have a ton to worry about, social media shouldn’t be one of them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m originally from Detroit. First things first, you have to get some good food. Detroit is best known for Coney Island, or my personal fave, Sweetwater. You then need to take a cruise down Jefferson and end up at Belle Isle. You’ll get the best views at sundown. Before you leave, you would have to check out the nightlife. Downtown Detroit is a great time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My story begins at The Lip Bar. If it had not been for Melissa Butler and Lesley Russell, I would not have began a career in social media.
