We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Eguavoen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The values and principles that matters most to me is keeping faith and having God at the forefront of everything that I do. As a business owner it can get a little overwhelming or discouraging at times. Creating skin care products is what I love to do, so when I have days where I feel like my business isn’t where I want it to be, I have to remember that God designed my trajectory uniquely for me and that everything that is happening is for a reason or for a greater good. I would highly suggest that business owners everywhere keep faith in their business. Sometimes if people don’t see your vision that is okay, you don’t need everyone’s approval for your business. Set that goal for yourself to build your business to exactly what you believe it can become and understand that there are going to be good days as well as bad days. I personally keep God at the forefront of my business because he is faithful and he knows that this is what my heart truly desires. I pray to God when I have my good days, I also pray to God when I have my bad days. Being able to create my own skin care products, have people use them and see good results fills my heart with joy. So no matter what the situation is keep your faith through it all.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Majesstic Organics is a natural skin care company that provides the people with quality skin care products that are made with love, quality and 100% natural ingredients that are beneficial for the skin. I am most proud of my dedication towards my business. In the beginning when I started out, I was only making organic butters, and I never thought about elevating to becoming a skin care brand. I am now selling my own cleansers, toners, serums, facial masks, along with butters. The crazy part is I’m not even done yet. Majesstic Organics has some big plans and in due time everything will come to reality. I am most excited about my relaunch I just relaunched on 3/14/2021 and I am already close to selling out of all my deluxe skin care packages which is my most popular product on my website. I’m excited and humble for the near future of Majesstic Organics. Keeping dedication and faith is what got me to where I am today. Keeping faith sounds easy but can sometimes be hard to do. I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it was worth it. I overcame the struggle of keeping faith by knowing who I am as a person and what my end goal is for my vision. I can’t look at someone else business and compare myself to that. I stay in my lane, and pray to God to bless my business. As an individual I am very creative and business minded, so I am always finding new ways to improve my business. I take my time and plan things out and I don’t rush anything because good things take time. The lesson I learned as a business owner is to have tough skin. When things don’t go as planned, find a solution. I never give up on anything, I will always find a way. So having that mentality of being a strong, dedicated, and respectful business owner has definitely brought me a long way. I want the world to know that they can trust me with their skin concerns and for good quality products. I take my business very seriously and strategically create everything I have to offer. Your skin deserves to be treated with nothing less than quality, natural products because your face is what you wear everyday, and it can affect your confidence. When you take care of your skin internally and externally it shows, so “Glow the Majesstic way” and shop with me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would suggest some of my personal favorite places in Atlanta is definitely slutty vegan their food is top tier. You have places like the aquarium or the world of coca cola those places are fun. You can also have a nice picnic at piedmont park and even ride the big Ferris wheel.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes most definitely, I would love to shoutout Mrs. Cierra Fly Bobo. She was my mentor since I was in the 6th grade and I am now a senior in college. Her organization is called FLY Life and it is a non-profit mentorship organization to help young girls of all ages. Fly put me in the position to meet with many other mentors from different organization such as Ms. Riley and Ms. Meghan with operation Hope. All of these mentors dedicated so much time to helping me structure my business. We would have workshops every Saturday and brainstorm business plans, and also rehearse for pitches. I was grateful enough to pitch on live television with operation Hope, win grant money for my business, and get my business name out there. The experience overall was very inspiring and I am very grateful to have met these amazing mentors and gain wisdom from all of them.
