Meet Jerrica Griffin | The Space Design Company

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jerrica Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jerrica, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Jerrica- Taking risk in life is 100% necessary! 

Jerrica- It’s important to push yourself out of your own comfort zone, to pursue your dreams, goals, and aspirations.  

Jerrica- The reason I am here today is, because I took a huge leap of faith, confidence, and inner wisdom to pursue my dreams. 

Jerrica- I have never looked back since I became a “Risk Taker.” 

Jerrica- This is what risk-taking truly is. 

Jerrica- I was working in a retail clothing store, as a store manager and a fashion merchandiser.  

Jerrica- I absolutely hated my career.

Jerrica- I was watching my life flash before my eyes slowly.

Jerrica- I felt trapped!

Jerrica- Later that night 

Jerrica- I was having the most difficult time falling asleep. 

Jerrica- My mind was racing with thoughts of my future life, my future self, and all my goals.

Jerrica- I wonder “how my life would be, if I take a leap of faith in go after my dream?” 

Jerrica- At that very moment I decided to just do it!

Jerrica- I decided to push myself mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically to the next level.

Jerrica- I knew exactly what I wanted, and I knew I had the faith to move forward.

Jerrica- The next day I pulled my boss to the side, to inform her that today will be my last day working for this company.

Jerrica- She looked at me with a puzzle blank stare. 

Jerrica- I took her “I wanted to pursue my dreams of owning my own interior design company.”

Jerrica- I turned to the door and proceeded to walk out.

Jerrica- With no money saved in my accounts

Jerrica- My credit cards were maxed out

Jerrica- I only had $1,000 in my checking account, to cover next month rent. 

Jerrica- I did not have enough money to pay any of my bills, nor did I have enough money to put gas in my car. 

Jerrica- I was terrified! 

Jerrica- But I knew my faith, wisdom, and determination would push me into alignment with the next chapter of my life. 

Jerrica- The beginning of The Space Design Company.

Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live for a good vibe, great food, crafted drinks and a experiences. When family or friends come in town, the first place I will take them is to some sort of activity
Such as go-karts, paint ball shooting, zip lining and rock climbing
Follow by renting scooter and riding around the city
It’s all about creating memories and laughter.
