We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was encouraged to start my Baking business by my Pastor. I would always enjoy baking delicious desserts for free, and see people enjoying them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a mobile Bakery located now in Jonesboro Ga. We back each dessert from scratch with love.

What sets me apart from others is the grace of God upon my life. God has given me power in my hands to get wealth. He is the foundation in this entire business.

I am most proud of the journey in this baking business, the amazing people I encounter daily, the support, and love that I receive from my clients.

I got where I am today because of God, and the people that have consistently motivated me to keep pushing in business. Also by taking constructive criticism and listening to ideas from others.

Yes there are many challenges in owning your own business. Financial challenges arise every day, people not supporting like the say, and being consistent just to name a few.

I overcame these challenges through lots of prayer, support from my family, friends, and clients. Every time I want to quit and give up, God always uses my Apostle to encourage me to keep pressing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I want to shout out God, who gave me the gift of baking.

I want to shout out my mom, without her there’d be no me.

I want to shout out my grandma who taught me how to make my signature Peach Cobbler.

I want to shout out my Apostle, Apostle Jacquelyn Moore, she is who saw the gift of God on my life and steered me into starting my business. If she hadn’t, there wouldn’t be a One Man and A Cobbler.

I have to also shout out my amazing wife Zannette Williams, she help me with legitimizing my business affairs, menu creation, price points, and gathering supplies. I couldn’t do this without her.
