We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy L. Holloway and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy L., what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. Being consistent no matter how many views or the amount of engagement my post receives. I just kept working and grinding. I was putting out not just content but good content. Which made my following grow faster because people could relate to my content,
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I am most proud of is how my content has changed people lives for the better. Whether it was in a relationship, relationship with their parents, or relationship with themselves. The content I create is so different from other people because I am one of the only or few that creates content about real life situations. I don’t take sides because I believe everyone has a voice and I just try to tell their stories. Giving them a chance to be heard. No one is more right than the other.
This has not been an easy road due to simply just understanding social media as a whole. Being hacked at 300k followers and starting over. Social media changing their rules on what’s ok and what’s not. Losing close friends for whatever reasons. Being able to adapt to being called famous. I had to learn early that social media is a business. Not something you do just for fun if you’re really trying to make money off it.
I started doing my content for the soul reason of trying to talk to my ex girlfriend through my videos. My first drama skit did 14 million views in a week. I noticed how many people could relate to my story and wondered how many had been through my pain. So I kept creating content to try to help them like I helped myself find happiness. I went from having a gun to my head to being the happiest I have ever been in my whole life. I wanted that for the world because I could see us mentally suffering. I took my acting skills and told people’s stories. So they could know they wasn’t alone. They could know it’s a way out. My brand is entertaining while helping people break through their life struggles and find true happiness.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For fun, I would have to take them to Six Flags, Top Golf, and Andretti‘s to do indoor karting.
Mad Italian has the best Philly CheeseSteak I’ve had. Tin Lizzy for tacos! Toast on Lenox.
Blue Martini is one of my favorite hangout spots with great drinks!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout everyone that’s pushing through this thing we call life. I know everyday there is always something in their way trying to stop them. I was once that person. I almost committed suicide. I made my content hoping people could see themselves in it and understand there is always a better way. I am only being recognized for what I have done because I recognized the things they all are trying to do. Which is be understood and learn to understand. So with that being said, I would like to thank all my fans and the people who have watched my content over the years.
