We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting Bodylicious Couture is to redefine how women’s luxury fashion is approached. That as Founder and Designer, the brand aims to give versatile pieces and couture accessories to blend with practical ready-to-wear while utilizing zippers. Changing the innovation of the fashion industry as they capture the true essence, that gives women the freedom to change their looks in seconds.

Rooted in versatility, focus is placed on supporting and amplifying giving women the freedom to change their looks in seconds, while loving and embracing their bodies. Bodylicious Couture, is a movement to give women the confidence to love the skin they’re in, with silhouettes that hugs each curve, like a dance and song. Giving the true definition to designed with limited possibilities.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Bodylicious Couture, designed by a woman’s journey to a life with limitless possibilities, Utilizing captivating designs, bold colors and unique textures, our feminine versatile designs illuminate natural curves. Featuring Luxury High Fashion Couture Ready-To-Wear collections for women.We hold true to providing sophisticated, edgy, and statement pieces for all women, at every turn of her lifestyle. Founded in 2018, from inspiration from living in London, Nigeria, and Paris. Bodylicious Couture is designed and crafted between Georgia and Los Angeles.

The one challenge that I overcame was believing in myself. Understanding that people didn’t buy just the design but they bought because of the love I show. That letting people get to know me and see that Bodylicious Couture is my love letter to them. Giving the the freedom to express and showcase their style through their wardrobe.

The biggest lesson that I have learned along the way is to be confident and have the courage to keep my head up high. To not be afraid to show the world what I have to offer through my clothing brand Bodylicious Couture. Leaving a legacy for my family and a mark on the fashion world. To create innovative designs that will change how fashion is looked at.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot we have to start our day with amazing food at Cheesecake Factory at North Point Mall in Alpharetta, while we are there we can do some shopping. The next will be the underground at Atlantic station. Give my friend the experience of riding the Marta.

The next place will be great entertainment and food, watching movie at Movie Tavern. Once done their we can head back to hotel at the W hotel downtown Atlanta.

There are so many funny thing to do, it is hard to narrowed it down. Rather it is the Aquarium, Coca Cole company, or club hopping there will not be a dull moment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First I have thank God almighty. The people I like to shoutout is my mother, Lois, that has been my biggest fan. My sister, Ellarose, who inspires me as she pushes me to see the greatness in me. Also, the all the women out there that inspire me to design my looks. Even, when I doubt I think of their belief in me and I keep going. I know I stand on the shoulder of Sheros everyday!
