We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Garth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
It takes a lot of work and planning for a successful business, I’ve realized that all decisions rather you made them fast or put a lot of time and thought into them all still have a long term effect on your journey. A well thought out plan seems to work better for me, I plan on taking my time and thinking things out every time I’m granted the opportunity.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I originally got into real estate because we were flipping houses and we wanted to be able to find our own deals and access them without the need of waiting on an agent, because those deals can go fast and I was the only one local at the time so the leg work was all on me. Eventually my love for real estate just continued to grow. I adore seeing homes transform and seeing reactions of those who may not have that vision. Not long after we started I had to learn how to do some of the things that come along with flipping homes, do to the lack of help or trying to save money on projects. So I’m very familiar with the entire process (acquiring, buying, renovating if needed and selling) of all things real estate rather it’s home buying and selling for home owners and also for investors. I’m a great resource for real estate in general.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
-We would definitely start off by spending a day on Auburn Ave, so much history around there and great eats. -We would also spend a day in the West End and travel the belt-line to end our day in the never ending line at Slutty Vegan – during the spring and summer I love the thought of all the festivals and food truck events here in the city, so we would enjoy time there because I am a foodie at heart. – Catch a Braves Game -Visit Stone Mountain And there are way to many good lounges, bars and eatery’s to name no telling where we would end up at
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would not be successful without my family, friends and clients. I can honestly say my business has definitely been 90% referal based. Without them I would not be where I am, from people I’ve connected with through out my entire life and even on social media I thank you!
