We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer DesRoches and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the most important factor behind my success of JAD Financial Wealth is Authenticity. I believe in being real and honest to my clients. I like my clients to feel comfortable and free when they are in my company. Providing a safe place for my clients is always the goal. Speaking to someone about their credit and financial situation can sometimes be uncomfortable. So I tell my clients my story to provide comfortable and safe place for them.

What should our readers know about your business?
What I am most proud about JAD Financial Wealth is helping people and changing lives. Being able to provide knowledge and help restore personal credit is one of the best feelings. If I can be honest it took a divorce to become the person I am today. If you ever experience a divorce, you understand how hard it is to build yourself back. After my divorce I lost everything, COMPLETELY EVERYTHING! One day I said to my self enough is enough its time to get Jennifer back. I started off working on my own credit, I came from a 412 credit score to a 754. So, I decided that wanted to help my family and friends fix their credit for free. It became something I enjoyed doing, so i prayed about turning it into a business and God place people and resources right in front of me. I Knew nothing about starting a business so it was not a easy process. I made many mistakes but it was all worth it. I can now help others not make the same mistake I have made. My goal is to become an example to others that you can lose everything and GET IT BACK 2x BETTER.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My bestfriend and I enjoy eating!!!! We probably get all dress up and hit up and the 5 stars restaurants and lounges with live music. My top 3 would be Bones Restaurant, The Capital Grille and Aria. GOOD VIBES ONLY.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out Kendra Cathy. Kendra is the Owner of New Wealth Creation Enterprise in ATL. I contact her one day on IG and with no hesitation she was willing to provide me many gems. Its a beautiful thing when a woman can help build another woman.
