We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Silvius and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenna, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Social Media is ever-changing and growing. At JS Social Agency we help small to medium-sized companies create their brand presence and achieve their awareness goals. Our process is designed to empower our client’s brands and outfit their business with the tools needed to succeed. We can support their growth, elevate their brand sentiment, and put them on a solid track to success and profit. We are a dedicated team of professionals who solely focus on one of the most critical components of their marketing strategy, social media. In fact, data findings from Sprout Social state that “90% of executives agree social will soon become the primary communications channel for connecting with customers.”
Our work impacts the communities we serve because it enables them to hit their goals, generate new job opportunities company-wide, and create long-term profitability.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I believe what sets JS Social apart from others is how we truly care about our clients. Someone once told me in the early stages of business that “no contract is as good as a happy client” and from that moment, I have been committed to making that our mission. We lead with transparency and passion for what we do. From conception, we have been very intentional with the clients we would like to work with. We have been able to pivot our agency in that direction and though I have learned several lessons that were financially and time-consuming, they have made our agency stronger than ever. We believe in turning dreams into goals and goals into reality.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recognize my husband for his unwavering support throughout my entrepreneurship journey. Leaving the corporate culture and taking the leap into freelancing then later, starting my agency was not an easy one.
There have been countless nights that have been sacrificed to get one step closer to where I see JS Social Agency going.
With every sacrifice, I have been met with understanding, encouragement, and continued motivation.
He has never once questioned my ability to surpass my goals. I am confident that is what has given me staying power to be content with every stage of growth but, not complacent in pursuit of my goals.

I would also like to recognize my father. He was a business owner for over 25 years. From starting a small custom kitchens and countertops business to eventually working up and down the east coast with large corporations, I have seen the determination and grit that he had shown in order to assist in supporting our family. He worked his fingers to the bone in order to provide for us. Growing up around that has given me an incredible work ethic and appreciation for entrepreneurship.

Lastly, to the many mentors that have assisted me in the early stages with solidifying processes, creating a business plan, and branding – Thank you. Without you, JS Social Agency would not be nearly as cohesive and successful as we are today.
