We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeff Glassmeyer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeff, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my family. Having my family support throughout the startup and years of business is vital. Starting up a business can be very stressful that’s why having good support is needed. The success of my brand is due to pushing myself to be the best, learning as much as I can about my job and being 100% honest and standing behind all my jobs. Also being available to my clients to answer all their questions.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My company is Certified Home Inspectors. I work very hard to stay knowledgeable of the latest building trends as well as inspection methods. I was a field trainer teaching students how to do home inspections across the country and formed a great network of friends and peers and we share information and ideas constantly about how to help improve not only our business but our industry.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There’s so many favorite spots to visit in this town I would say we would start at the College football Hall of Fame be a former player and then make our way over to varsity for lunch. I would also have to check out one of the many beautiful lakes in the area and spend the day with the family wake boarding and fishing. Or even heading up to Blue Ridge area for a little fly fishing. While I’m up there visit Helen Georgia some of the amazing German food. Later that week I would spend it hiking through many of the amazing waterfalls throughout northern Georgia.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When I was working at JM Smuckers in Cincinnati, I had a boss tell me to never let anything hold me back and always go after my dreams. Things were not happening like I hope theY would at that time so I went out and follow my dreams and I haven’t looked black. .
