Meet Jeanette Jones | Living Victoriously Coach for Empty Nester Women

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeanette Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeanette, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Before becoming an empty nester, much of my time and energy was devoted to raising my daughter, managing household responsibilities, and balancing work. Parenting often felt like a second job, and as a result, my self-care, hobbies, and even certain career goals were sometimes put on hold. After my daughter left home, my work-life balance shifted. On one hand, I gained more freedom in my schedule and more opportunities to focus on personal goals, career advancement, health, or simply slowing down to enjoy life. On the other hand, I also faced new challenges, such as adjusting to the loss of daily parenting responsibilities and sometimes feeling a sense of emptiness or lack of purpose.
Today, I view work-life balance differently than before. It is no longer about dividing work and family responsibilities evenly, but about aligning my time and energy with my own values and what truly fulfills me. I now have the flexibility to design a life that prioritizes health, rest, travel, meaningful relationships, and purposeful work—whether through career, business, volunteering, or creative pursuits—while also making time for fun, play, and hobbies. I recognize that overworking or feeling a sense of emptiness can throw off this balance, so I try to embrace this new season as a chance to create a healthier, more intentional way of living victoriously.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
About My Coaching Business
Living Victoriously, LLC is more than just a coaching business—it’s a movement to help empty nester women rediscover who they are beyond motherhood and the roles they’ve played for others. What sets my work apart is that I don’t just teach strategies for self-care and purpose; I walk side by side with my clients through their transformation, drawing from both my professional expertise in mental health and my personal journey of learning to prioritize myself after years of putting others first.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I am most proud of the women who come through my coaching program and reclaim their lives—watching them grow in self-love, confidence, and clarity brings me immense joy. I’m especially excited about creating luxury retreats where women can immerse themselves in healing, discovery, and connection, because I know how life-changing it is to step away from routine and pour into yourself fully.
How I Got Here
I arrived here after more than 16 years of working in the mental health field as an assessor and therapist. While I was helping others, I was also on my own personal journey as a single parent, often putting my daughter’s needs before my own. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the challenges women face when they’ve spent years serving everyone else and now feel lost when their children grow up and move on. My book, Step by Step Walk with God, tells that story—of how faith carried me through both joys and hardships and prepared me to guide women who are now walking their own paths of rediscovery.
The Challenges
It was not easy to get here. Launching a business required me to step outside my comfort zone, to push through doubt, and to learn how to market my story and my services in a way that felt authentic. I’ve faced moments of uncertainty—wondering if women would see the value in themselves enough to invest in coaching—but each challenge became a lesson in persistence, faith, and trust in the purpose God placed in me.
Lessons Learned
I’ve learned that success isn’t about perfection, it’s about consistency and authenticity. I’ve learned that the most powerful way to reach people is by sharing my own story openly—because women need to see that I’ve lived what I teach. And I’ve learned that when you build a business on passion and purpose, opportunities align when you stay faithful and keep moving forward.
What I Want the World to Know
I want the world to know that Living Victoriously is about more than a program—it’s a lifestyle of self-love, self-awareness, and purposeful living. My brand exists to remind women that they are worthy of love, joy, and balance, no matter what stage of life they are in. My story is one of resilience, faith, and victory, and I bring that same spirit into every woman I work with. I want women to know that it’s never too late to rediscover themselves, rewrite their story, and live a life filled with meaning.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my family for their continued love and support throughout the years. Their encouragement, understanding, and presence through the many stages of my life have been a constant source of strength for me. Whether I was facing challenges, celebrating successes, or simply navigating everyday life, knowing that I had their support gave me the courage and determination to keep moving forward. I would not have been able to succeed in so many areas of my life without the foundation of love and encouragement provided by my family.
