We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazzy B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazzy, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define success by fulfilling your purpose not by fulfilling your purse or pockets. It’s not about money , it’s about the mission ! Getting multiple Getty images, Exclusive invites and views doesn’t make me successful. Me making God proud is the ultimate success..

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart as a influencer is that I’m well respected in multiple parts of the industry . I creative direct for multiple celebrities, I create Logos, graphics flyers and set as a creative director for various businesses. I host events , parties, shows , concerts etc. I’m a red carpet correspondent that covers major award shows such as Bet awards , I PR for two prominent celebrity dancers out of Atlanta and so much more .

I’m mostly proud of the fact that I’ve never had to change up who I am or who I serve in any room.

Getting to this place in life definitely came with obstacles . I spent a lot of time being broke over half of my career. I drove a car with no AC in the middle of summer . I would have to drive to events with frozen bottles of water in my bra and panties . I would stop at a nearby store to clean myself up before walking into a room with celebrities and other media.

I lost my mother and my 11 year marriage during this process of me walking into my purpose.. what I’ve learned in my life is that God assigns you a duty. The job may seem hard . However , he doesn’t give you a assignment with out assuring that your equipped for it . My experiences, my circumstances , My personality is all aligned for the things God assigns..

What I want people to know about me and my brand is that my brand is a movement . I bring ministry to the industry thru my energy . My talent is undeniable and my purpose is meaningful. I’m not just a show , I’m a show out !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would choose to take my friend on a week long journey into my profession. So I would utilize Charlotte,NC , Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA. My best friend and I are shakers and movers. So we love events, random photo shoots for content, etc. .

We would start off in charlotte where I would take her to my favorite food spots like cuzzo’s cusine, seafood connection food truck , 15th street social food truck, Chimas . I would also hire my person chef , chef Jas to whip us up some red velvet waffles and friend chicken./ Fried fish .

Our days in charlotte would consist of massages by the pool , day drinking , karaoke in Noda & crown station, hookah lounges etc. We would link with photographers to follow us around to capture paparazzi shots of the moment .

We would then spent our later half of the week in ATL. We would go to star studded events , eat at Kandi Burris restaurants, Kirk & Rasheeda new bistro.. we would get a driver and have him drive us around different parts of buck head to view mansions so we can manifest. We would stop by various podcast and radio stations to rework.

Fun for me is networking around net-worthy people . I’m not a club girl or adventurous. I’m spontaneous, thorough and intentional.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout my brother for encouraging me to move to charlotte, NC to kickstart my career .

My grandparents for raising me . I grew up in a household where everyone is creative and talented, JazzyB was created in that house!

My mother Tamara Denise Nicholas. She was my angel on earth and now my angel in heaven. She taught me how to stay true to myself and the mission .

My dad for investing in my business ventures .

My family , My best friend Kima , my OBBC church family , my viewers , my subscribers and my team.

Most importantly I want to thank My Amazing son for giving me grace. I Thank him for being understanding of my career and believing in me. His love and support is literally the thing that keeps me motivated.
